I was having Mobile phone connection No. 9417376110 from B.S.N.L. About more than four months ago, I ported my number to Bharti Airtel and my number remained the same. Since I was not satisfied with the service of Airtel, I intended to leave Airtel and port to Vodafone and the matter was communicated to the agent of Airtel at Hoshiarpur. A message on my mobile phone was received on 1.8.2011 at 12.48 PM stating that my porting number was AP769535 and date of expiry was 16.8.2011 but the Porting Code when applied by Vodafone was not accepted. The services of Airtel, on my mobile connection has not been stopped/closed till today and due to this I am unable to port to Vodafone. E-mails in this regard have also been sent to [email protected] on 17.8. 1.9. 7.9.2011 and 9.9.2011 and the acknowledgements of the same have been received with the message that a complaint has been raised with the relevant team and the Unique Service Request number of 50901569572 was allotted to me, but the Unique Porting Code for shifting to Vodafone has not been provided to me till date. E-mails were also sent in this regard to the Nodal Officer and the Appellate Authority of Airtel at Chandigarh, on 16.9. but I have not received any response. I have also activated the DND service on my number, but still I am receiving the unwanted messages on my phone and balance has been deducted twice from my account for the services that I have not subscribed to.
