Change MNP (POSTPAID) to PREPAID

Hello, I just want to know, that I successfully changed my old operator to new operator on around march. my new operator provide my A Postpaid connection (MNP) to me. But i require PREPAID. Dealer tell me after 3 month you can easily change your plan according to your or switch to prepaid in anytime. So I call customer care (IDEA) my current operator for converting my postpaid MNP connection to PREPAID connection. they say's it is not possible, bcas you all ready MNP customer. you can migrate to prepaid services.

So please tell me how I do for the same.
