I am bearing a post paid connection of Idea Cellular limited. I was using their plan called House full plan which entitled me to use 512MB of free GPRS along with other benefits. On 11th of May, I made a request to change my bill plan to Victor Plan. It was successfully done the very next day. After that I asked to add Rs. 99 GPRS pack which entitles me to use 1GB of free data every billing cycle. It was also enabled on 13th May. After a week suddenly I received an SMS that my credit limit of 2000 Rs has been exceeded and all my outgoing calls were barred without any warning or prior notice. At that time, my GPRS usage was 400 MB, which means 600 MB is remaining as per my plan. I lodged a complaint at their customer care regarding the same and CC executive told me I can get debarred only if I pay 1600 Rs in advance!!! I was shocked and I told I haven't used the connection much to have breached my credit limit. They told they can't check unbilled details and I have to pay 1600 as advance or else I could wait till next billing cycle. After a long call they agreed to raise a request to increase credit limit to 3000 Rs. This happened on Friday and its still pending with them. Again I lodged a complaint on their website and no one responded. This is really unfortunate for a customer being loyal to Idea and staying with them for the past 4 years tenure.
