Hi Sir,

This is to bring to your notice about the worst nightmare that i had with regards to my airtel connection.

I have been using Airtel Postpaid for about 8 years and never had such experience and always i trusted airtel as it has got the best network and good customer service, but the pain that i have gone on saturday was the worst thing that could have ever happened.

Please find the details about the same:

I wanted to convert from Postpaid to Prepaid and i called customer care with regards to that and there gave me details that i have to clear my outstanding amount, unbilled charges, migration charges i asked them why there are charging 100 rs as i have been using this connection for long and there bluntly said that there will charge, then i asked to transfer the call to supervisor where one of the lady by name Vellora from escalation desk handled the call and told me that migration charges is refundable and it will get adjusted in the next bill which will come to you, i was happy with this info and i confirmed for almost 3 times with her r u sure and she said that yes its right info.

Based on above information i went at 5:30 PM on saturday evening to Airtel Showroom, Shivam Road, Hyderabad where one of the executive (i dont remember exactly his name was Sudhir) i asked him the details about the procedure and he said that follwing details to be given: Outstanding bill, unbilled amount, migration charges which he said its non refundable amount and i was shock on this and Rs35 for lifetime validity, i was shocked to hear all this, i asked him why are you charging 35 Rs he says for lifetime and u will get incoming, he spoke very rudely to me and raised his voice, if i would not have been educated guy i would have slapped him there as this is not the way he will speak to customers, sack him u guys will be benefitted. I asked him can i talk to someone superior he said as its saturday there is noone that too very rude.

I called customer care from airtel centre and one of the lady answered the call and i again has to tell her the whole scenario where she understood and immediately told me not to pay 35 rs for the bill, she gave a waiver for the same which was really courteous and also she talked to the guy at relationship centre and explained him.

Then this guy told me to go to the next counter and he will give me all the details about the amount i have to pay and again there was a shocking incident there this guy tells me to pay: Outstanding amount, unbilled amount, migration he again says its non refundable and also he told me to pay 55 rs for prorata rental, i was shocked i asked him why everyone is giving different info and this guy says thats procedure, but i have gone through the pain of my life.

Then again i called customer care and did not wanted to speak to any agent and told them to transfer call to supervisor Manoj from escalation department took the call, i again have to explain him the whole scenario and asked him why is he charging 55 now again?? manoj told me no we dont charge that amount and he talked to the person in relationship centre and explained him procedure, and there both entered argument that from backend team relationship centre was informed, what sort of crap is this??

Sir why do we have different versions 1 from customer care, 1 from relationship centre.

This is the shocking incident and the worst nightmare experience that i have, i really feel sorry for my self for using airtel connection for 8 years and getting this treatment, i was a long customer for you but though i have converted to prepaid i will not stay for long as i dont want to have these experiences again.

Please listen to all the calls on saturday that i made to call centre from 12:30-1:30 and 5:00-7:00 and you will get the version.

I was working as an Assistant Manager with Idea but never used that connection and the same story continues here.

Please look into this and i want the compensation for all the worst things that i have gone through and spoiling my weekend saturday evening.
