Exceptionally Poor Service

This is with regards to extraordinarily poor service provided by your esteemed company- Idea Cellular Limited. I have been using this connection for past 2 years and do not wish to be associated with Idea for even a single day:

3 weeks back, I requested for activation of blackberry services at my phone. The charges for same, INR 399/- were debited within 15 minutes and services were promised to be activated within 24 hours. Thereafter, in my repeated calls to the support center I was told that services will be activated shortly. However, after troublesome task of reaching the call center operator four times, I was told that blackberry services cant be activated on a pre-paid device and my money will be refunded within 48 hours.

Now, In my repeated calls to the call centre (which takes 15-20 mins to reach operator), I am falsely commited that money will refunded within 12-24 hours. Several senior executives have repeatedly commited several timelines over last 2 weeks. I have no faith in Idea’s executive any commitments and therefore writing this mail as a last resort.

I also would like to know about functioning of your support center, whether any customer escalation are recorded to or not. I am also submitting this complaint to consumer forum and TRAI and would also highlight to this fellow Idea users.

This exceptional service quality over last 3 weeks (which has already consumed my enough time for mere INR 399/-) has left me with no option, but to switch providers.

KINDLY REFUND MY MONEY AT EARLIEST.
