Service centres saying to sell d cell

Nokia service centres saying to sell d cell. I have purchased d cell 5130XM at November. I ws starting facing the problem by May. I went to Howrah NOKIA Service centre. The Customers representatives simply said to sell my mobile though its in the warranty period still left by 6 months..

According to him, the cell i am using is worthless... and i should get rid of it...

I was not provided any help by there side...
