This is my second complaint against aircel. It is probably the worst mobile service provider. They've done it all, from staff lying to misselling to not disclosing full scheme details to inundating with calls for bill payments. Even since i've got my number on 17/18 jan (8898010009) and made my initial payment... aircel cares a damn about my complaints. Their staff at the customer contact center is the dumbest... they have answers to nothing. I was trying to use the internet service in Goa but it didn't work. SO when i got back to mumbai, i called to check... their revert was..sorry we can't help you as you are back in mumbai! If you were in Goa we'd have been able to help you! Ya thanks! The person told me that the internet works only in a few cities in India and that information was not shared with me by the girl who sold the whole pack to me - Alka from the Thakur village branch in Kandivali. Post that a guy called Arif had called me regarding my earlier complaint on this website. He spoke to me for about 10 seconds and said he'll call me back... and as expected he never did. Now, for the last 15 days, i've been getting a call from aircel every day to pay my bill as my credit limit is busted. but wait... no one ever told me about the credit limit when i first got the connection! A bunch of cheats aircel is. my bill date is 19th of feb and i received a copy in the post only on 24th. Why will i pay the bill without seeing the bill? And you know what? they cut my outgoing calls before the bill reached me :)
Nobody at aircel cares about customers and complaints including the senior people; the nodal officer/the appelette officers... their phones are always switched off... the people at the branch lie and the customer service doesn't have answers to any problems. All aircel is good at is making calls to recover their money. And Mahendra Singh Dhoni... if you read this... believe me that aircel is a horrible brand for you to endorse. You should not associate yourself with liars.
I'm going to wait patiently for someone from aircel to call and resolve my issues... else i refuse to pay the bill :) Not wasting any more money on them as they are already sitting on my deposit of Rs. 5000
