Highly Over Charged Bill

This is Swapnil Chaudhari from Pune. I have been an Airtel user from last 5 years and few days ago I changed my Prepaid connection to Postpaid by considering it as a great plan which turned into a disaster for me. This is my number- 9975 26 888 3

My connection was blocked by AitTel for almost 25 days. When I converted my card into Postpaid then I did activated an GPRS pack on my phone & I was using GPRS regularly. And I started receiving messages from AirTel about my extended bills more than the credit limits. I even contacted AirTel gallaries and also contacted to the AirTel people in Pune from whom I received the offer call to change my sim to Postpaid. And I come to know that the GPRS pack was not activated on my connection etc. And so when I was using AirTel GPRS Internet connection on my Computer then it was crediting money on my account as the internet pack was not active so it was charging me 10paisa/10KB. And I was completely unaware of this fact until I visited AirTel Galleries.

First AirTel was saying that I have to pay Rs.6299 and I freaked out by this and I complained again and again & argued so much with these STUPID & CARELESS AirTel people who were not helpful and not cooperative at all. And they blocked my number even from incoming calls. And they called to my friends and even to my father regarding my bills and they humiliated them on the issue of this bill. I was even trying to call 2 AirTel workers, who gave me this plan and converted my Prepaid into Postpaid, regarding my bill issue but they even not receiving my calls.

Later AirTel activated my number and sent me a message saying, You have only 290Rs. amount to pay which is quite right amount that I deserve to pay. But when I ordered the e-bill then I was surprised again to see that in the e-bill my bill amount is 5993Rs. and when I contacted the AirTel Gallery and the AirTel guy checked my bill on his computer then it showed 721Rs. and just before some time I got a message from AirTel than I need to pay 807Rs. or they will disconnect my number again etc.

I dont understand what the hell is going on with the AirTel. I never had a problem with its Prepaid but this Postpaid is the most horrible thing I experienced.

AirTel is saying that I have used Internet so I need to pay the bill they asking me to pay. But when I converted my card into Postpaid then I activated GPRS pack which gives 2GB internet in 149Rs. And the AirTel Guy from customer care said that GPRS has been activated on my number and I need to save the settings which he will send me and I got the settings right after that call and I started to use internet but just after 6 days they said that GPRS was not activated on my no. and I need to 4277Rs. etc. I argued and complained and my number was activated immediately and the AirTel galary person activated a GPRS pack on my connection by himself but still the GPRS was not activated on my no. & I was receiving messages about over-extended bills and after 2 days your AirTel people disconnected my connection and left me helpless.

Rohit Singh- 9975 580 18 Manager, Telesoft AirTel Office, Sinhgad Road, Pune and Ganesh Patil- 9975 580 14, Sales Executive for the same office are mainly responsible for the loss that I am suffering from. These are 2 who gave me this plan and converted my card to Postpaid and later they even dont receive my call. I believe that these 2 frauds have given me this plan to complete their sales targets and to fraud me with the bills and making me to pay the HUGE bill that I dont ever deserve to pay. I want to file a 420 Police case against these 2 frauds.

I have been a loyal user of AirTel services by last 5 years and this is a very bad experience I am going through now and no one in AirTel is helping. I called to Customer Care also but no use. I am a Free Lance worker and I get most of work from phone calls only and cause of my blocked connection I am going to financial loss now cause my clients could not contact me on my number. AirTel is responsible for all the Economical loss and frustration that I am going through.

Some how I got this e-mail id so am writing you here. I hope at least this will help.

I request your team for some immediate resolution on my problem which is happening only because of AirTel's mistakes.
