I recently walked into a Tata Docomo store to get My Family plan (999 monthly rental) after seeing the tariff on their website. So, I submit all the required documents and signup for 999 monthly rental myfamily plan with 4 connections. The in-store official said that it would be done in a few days. Fine, after some time when the numbers were activated I saw the plan was changed to 1999 monthly rental. When asked why did this happen, they said that for 999 family plan, the maximum number of connections was 3.

But in the Tata Docomo website and the in-store official clearly says that for 999 plan the number of connections must be between 2 and 5. And I had applied with 4 connections. After having told this endlessly to the customer care, I gave up.

So, now I end up paying 1999 monthly rental. Clearly, something is wrong on Tata Docomo's side. I am just waiting for 90 days to complete to port out of this deceiving network. Their advertisements about transparency is very misleading. Please do not go to this network.
