Aircel sent a sms stating that full talk time will be given for recharge of Rs.50. I recharged for Rs.50 for my aircel prepaid account [cell no. 9941389501] on 17-5 and i received a sms immediately showing the credit given us Rs.43.33 instead of Rs.50. I complained to the customer care to give credit of the balance 6.67. They informed that they have given full credit of Rs.50. I asked them why they sent an SMS as 43.33. There is no proper answer I represented to the nodal officer and followed it up with the Appellate Authority. Some on called 4-5 days back and asked me to await further action. No further action has come from them either by email, or phone or SMS.

I have doubts about the methodology adopted by them? Their inappropriate response to the complaint for over 20 days is causing me severe mental agony and my doubt is intensified.

This issue needs to be exposed to TRAI and other concerned government organisation. The amount may be insignificantly low but how many lakhs would have recharged expecting full credit. if they are giving full credit why should they send a misleading SMS, something fishy. Is this transparency? why is their response casual and ambiguous instead of mailing me the records of previous balance and the credit given after the recharge?
