Meaningless Customer Care reply by airtel & Blackberry

The customer service of Airtel & Blackberry is horrible; they do not give proper intimations via SMS. Its absolute Cheating. Pl go thru the below mail which is self explanatory.

Dear Sir

On Monday ie 23rd April i recevied an SMS from AD-650142, which stated

"Your Airtel Blackberry service for 299 is due for renewal in 3 days. Kindly maintain your balance to keep enjoying the service. For Deactivation SMS UNPMP to 121. “

I was currently using 299 plan, which was forced on me, though i wished to have 399 plan (pl refer COLWO3042579889100)

Now on Wednesday 25th April at 8.53pm, in order to upgrade my plan to 399 and as per the SMS received, I deactivated the blackberry services by typing UNPMP to 121.

Following which i receved the below SMS.

“ As requested the Blackberry Service has been deactivated. For reactivating it SMS PMP to 121.

Now to Reactivate and then changing the plan, i first typed PMP and was looking for options of selecting plans, so that i can upgrade to 399 plan. But to my Shock, i receved the below messages..

“Thank you for your request. Your PMP plan will be activated within 4 hours. You will receive a conformation sms on activation. “

“Your request for Rs 299 Personal mail Monthly Plan has been activated. Please restart your handset and configure your email accounts. For Technical Support Call 7070. “

This SMS was disappointing. No where it was mentioned that PMP will reactivate 299 plan.

Without restarting my handset i smsed back UNPMP as i did not want 299 plan.

But alas 299 got deducted and am with no plan now. Considering my earlier complaints, i request you to deduct another 100 and pl activate 399 plan. I Tried calling the customer Care Dept, they gave all negative replies saying nothing can be done, your money is gone.

I therefore request you to please do the needful and oblige.

The Reply what i have got is here below, Please note the service request number, they are not at all reading my mails, instead on seeing my number they are giving the same only service request number again. I called so many times to the Chargeable customer care service, there response is pathetic.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience faced.

Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that i was regularly using 399 BB Plan. Only last month by mistake i activated 299 plan. When i called up customer care to change it to 399 plan, i was told that it cannot be done and i have to complete one month and then change the plan to 399.

Now again this month without any intimation by sms, i got a deduction of Rs 299. Again i called up your customer care, they said already 299 is deducted hence they cannot do anything. These kind of reasoning looks absurd.

The blackberry & airtel do not have concern to solve the matter but they throw ball at each other and my problem continues.
