I enquired about the mobile GPRS connection & the procedure to activate & use the connection on my hand set.
I was told about the plan and usage but nothing specific in terms of setting. I got is activated on 15-April. After 2 day I check with customer care about the sudden raise in unbilled amount by Rs200 and got no justification. And in that month bill I was charged around Rs1100 against GPRS usage. I checked with customer care & they said I used Airtel Online which has different gateway so the charges are valid. I asked them why it was not clarified that I need to change the settings when I explicitly asked at the time of activation. Later they said on the benefit of doubt they can waive off Rs 250 from the bill. Why should I pay the amount which is charged because of their mistake?
