HAD PURCHASED AN AIRTEL PREPAID PHONE CONNECTION WITH NO. 9535734717 IN JULY. I GOT THE CONNECTION ACTIVATED AND VERIFICATION WAS DONE BY AIRTEL THROUGH PHONE. THE CONNECTION WAS WORKING FINE AND IN SEPTEMBER I WAS NOT USING THIS NO. FOR AROUND 20 DAYS WITH CREDIT BALANCE OF RS.200 (APPROX) STILL IN THE NO., THEY PERMANENTLY DISCONNECTED THE PHONE CONNECTION.
WHEN I CHECKED OUT WITH THE CUSTOMER CARE, THE CALL WAS DROPPED EVERY NOW AND THEN, WHEN I MANAGED TO SPEAK TO A CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT, I GOT THE REPLY THAT THE NO. HAS BEEN RECYCLED AND WHEN I ASKED THE REASON THEY PUT ME ON HOLD AND THEN THEY DISCONNECT THE CALL. THIS HAPPENED QUITE FEW TIMES.
TODAY I SPOKE WITH ANOTHER AGENT AND SHE ELEVATED THE CALL TO HER SUERVISOR WHO TOLD ME THE SAME STORY AND TOLD ME SHE IS HELPLESS AND THE NUMBER HAS BEEN RECYCLED AND IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO GIVE ME THE NO OR THE MONEY IN THAT NO BACK.
