Hi,
This is regarding a very simple issue that has been unneccesarily elongated by Airtel's customer service
1. I had the Airtel broadband service with landline - 01204227686. The connection was in my wife's name - Nazia Hasan.
2. As I was shifting from Ghaizabad to Gurgaon, I got a fresh Airtel broadband connection at my new residence and hence got the new number of 01244360247
3. Hence I raised a request for the disconnection of my old number 01204227686
4. Post that I have been receiving numerous "irritable" calls from the Airtel retention department all asking me the same questions time and again (the details of which I have provided repeatedly) - questions related to why I was asking for the disconnection, whether I wanted to retain the no or getting it transferred to anyone etc. etc.
5. Now post all these calls, today I got an sms confirming that the service at my old number have been RESUMED??? I am really at a loss of understanding as I had never placed any request for resuming of my services
6. Regarding my new connection - 01244360247, I had raised several service requests (and repeated calls to the customer care) for a minor requirement of additional wiring - service requests no -45079922 and 45206060. Till now there has been absolutely no response from the Airtel side on my service request.
I am really perturbed by the amount of time wastage that I have to incur to get such small service requests resolved from Airtel. I will be really grateful if anyone can look into this and help me resolve these at the earliest.. Otherwise I will be forced to look at different service operators for my broadband requirements.
