I am using Airtel Broadband services since last three years. I am really tired of Airtel's service.
In my apartment, we have three broadband connections. In January / February while doing major telephone related wiring repair in our society, Airtel engineer/wireman interchanged my broadband connection (0120-4214760) with my friend’s connection (0120-4231416). I complained about this, but they never resolve this issue.
Since last two months I am facing frequent internet disconnection problem. I daily have to fight with internet connection after coming back from office. I pay monthly charges of Rs. 992 per month. Rs. 992 does not have any value? For me it is huge amount, but for Airtel it does not have any values, because they have huge number of customer.
I have done four complaints to Airtel customer service regarding this issue in last four month. I have reference numbers for two latest complaints.
Each time I called them and ask them about what happened to my last request they said status of your request is “Resolved”. How come this request has been resolve at Airtel’s end without even asking me?
Service request no. 32750388. Request made on date 16 May regarding frequent disconnection from Airtel. One Airtel executive visited me. He concluded that modem I am using is not working and said that “I am now running out of modem, I will be back within a day or two and will replace your modem”.
Nothing happened.
I called two days before on 13th June and ask about previous request i.e. Service request no. 32750388. Airtel said status of this complain is “Resolved” at their end and they raised a new complaint. Service request no. 33811936. Yesterday I received a call from Airtel about engineer’s visit. He promised me to call at evening. He did not, so I called him after coming back from office at night. HE guided me something on phone and made connection temporarily work.
Again today after coming back from office, situation is same. Internet is not working. Again I called fifth time to Airtel. They said request which I had raised two days before (Service request no. 33811936) is resolved at their end. How Airtel can resolve complaints at their end without even asking to customers?
Telephone line with this connections in my house all are have permanent disturbance.
Is this the level of service expected for one of the largest telecom player in India? Or as government does not have control on this people, so they are doing and exploiting Indian customer in the way they want? How long Indian customers have to suffer?
It’s just frustrating, ridiculous, like Airtel is having fun with customers.
Please help/guide me.
