Due to new rule from government, Airtel is performing address verification of all it's customers. In this process, they blocked my outgoing calls on 22/10/2010 at 8:00 AM. When I tried to make any call, it was diverted to customer care and they asked me for for my details. After verifying all the details available with them, they said verification is complete and outgoing will be activated in 4 hours.
I called them up almost 10 times in last 2 days. I always received the same response, It will be activated in 4 hours. It is now almost 33 hrs without any service and still I cannot make any calls.
I've been using this service from past 6 years and this is how they respond.
Even now, they are not sure when they can activate my outgoing services.
Is there any way where I can escalate this issue, for the loss I had.
