I have been using Airtel post paid connection since 2008. I was using a corporate 249 plan and everything was going fine.
I added a GPRS pack for one year by paying a amount of Rs1500 with my plan on 26th June. It was valid till 26th June. I was happy with that. But the problem came after this. From July they started charging a Rs250 with with my monthly rent. I enquired about that and got a reply, it is charging for monthly GPRS charge. I never requested for GPRS monthly plan by a call or by a written confirmation. They are charging additional Rs 250 every month. I called up customer care several times but didn't get a satisfactory answer. Finally I decided not to pay the bill and went to a outlet and raised a complaint. They promised me that they will get back me before 9th December. They have called me in my alternate number and telling me to pay the bill. I told very clearly that I am not going to pay the bill for a service which I have never requested and I have never used. I was not using this connection for last 4 months and customer care executive told me that I have to pay the rent amount Rs 249 for months which I haven't used this connection because of their problem. The number is inactive, but the executives calling my friends and relatives and threatening them that I haven't pay the bill without knowing the exact fact.
