Airtel Service Poor in Chennai

Airtel Service is poor in Chennai

I have written the following from my personal tragic experience I faced with Airtel, finally changed my number to other network.

1. Cost

The cost for each call is comparatively very high compared to other Service Providers like Docomo, uninor, Vodafone etc.

2.Loss of money

Users tend to lose a lot of money calling the customer care executive. Each time the call reaches cc executive, a charge of .5paise is deducted from ur actual balance. So even if cc executive attends the call or not or attends late, u lose the money.

3.Change of Airtel Boosters

Some of the users including me were using booster for calling purpose. I used 53 booster, costs Rs.53/-.This provides calls at 1/2paise per second. Suddenly without no intimation, this booster was unavailable from April.

I recharged mine with 53 booster, when I called cc executive got a harsh reply that booster has been changed to a new plan @ 40 paise/minute. If I had known this info before, I ld not have wasted my money.

4.Internet usage with Touch mobiles

I m using a touchphone, I recharged my mobile with internet pack –one day pack @cost of Rs.4 or 5 (don’t remember exactly).

When I used few applications such as maps, GPS tracker from my Android phone, I tend to lose a huge sum of money like around Rs.50.

This scenario when I have free internet throughout the day, why should I be charged extra for no cause. I got reply from cc executive that I m connected via. Airtel Live to internet so I m charged.

I checked my settings thoroughly, its connected via mobile office.

5.Automatic allocation of other services without users knowledge.

Previously without my knowledge, I was given a caller tune free of cost from knowledge. First month passed on smoothly, then came my pitiable experience. I was charged with Rs.30 for a dummy caller tune.

On response from cc executive, he sent me a message that I have to send to other number, so that service gets cancelled. I sent the correct message to correct number. Service was not cancelled. I lost Rs.10 in this transcation.

Again I called cc executive, he removed the caller tune on one condition that I will lose Rs.30 from my current balance.

Of no mistake from me I lost Rs.70 for this.

Not only caller tunes, friends chat, movies pack, health related services also being charged from customers, without any demand for this services.

6.New Sim card procedure

I bought a new sim card, costs very high @ Rs.50 without any talktime but with 1p/sec plan. Then after buying that I m told by the Airtel Dealer that I have to necessarily recharge with Rs.100, to get a special balance of Rs.100.

Till this day, I don’t know y I should spend Rs.150 for buying a simcard alone. I even dislike the sparkling feature of Airtel called Special Balance.

7.No proper system for current balance and special balance.

I recharged my special balance with some booster pack. But note that my current balance is Rs.0. I got a annoying message everytime that my balance is very low, please recharge soon.

Balance amount present in my mobile so why should I get that annoying message.

My calls take a long time to reach my another friend, who was unreachable at that moment. So I recharged my mobile with Rs.100 topup.

Now I don’t know, how to switch between current and special balance. Under what circumstances I will lose money from current or special balance only my Lord knows.

8.No proper intimation for full talktime.

Earlier I used to get messages, that will tell me about the full talktime offers. But recently, I get unwanted scrap messages about some Rs.37 booster, friends chat etc.

It’s a waste of time to receive and delete those messages.

9.Switch over of booster pack.

Once I recharged my mobile with 53 booster, plan got changed as mentioned above. So again I recharged with Rs.21 for 1p/sec plan for a certain period of time.

To my shock, I lost the 53 booster plan @40paise/min and got changed to 1paise/sec. But I dint use my 53 booster even once.

10. Signal is strong but service is weak.

Without proper maintainance, no system can exist.

Only for the sake of strong signal, many users approach Airtel. Also a notable amount of users change to other network soon, because of the problems they face and amount of money they lose.

So I ld suggest to everyone, my dearest friends kindly keep the same number change to other network. Keep enjoying calling ……….
