I am having the Airtel landline with broadband connection in delhi with Telephone no - 011-42424737 and account No - 11441690.I have been a customer of airtel broadband
connection for more than 3 years.
Recently, I have received a bill no - 538613721 for the period from 23th April to 22-May with a due date of 13 June.
I am shocked to see the ISD call charges of Rs 600/- added in the bill which are absolutely not made from my end. The calls showing in the bill are made to two telephone numbers
in a span of two days 7th May and 9th May. I am totally sure that these calls are not made from my end and wondering why the calls are reflecting in my bill.
To get the clarification on the same called the customer service on 1st June and registered a complaint with No 47064548.The customer representative told that the concern department will get back to you in 2 working days.
After waiting for the callback I again called the customer service on 7th June but the issue is still not resolved and given the reply that we can't help it it is in your bill so made by you.
After all these harassment i am submitting a complaint in consumer complaint website to kindly look into the matter as I have not made these calls so how are they added in my bill.
This is really a nightmare that how are you charged for the calls which you have not made and that too from a reputed telecom company in India.
It is not a issue of money. I am not wasting my time and efforts for waiver but if you have not made any calls from your land-line no than how are you penalized for the charges.
I don't have any problem in paying for the service if you use a service. I can quote this because i had paid more that Rs 10000/- for internet broadband bill for a single month but i know i had used the broadband services so i am morally responsible to pay and had pad also but why should i pay for the calls which i have not made at all.
After this incidence, I had told the corporate communication team in my office to inform all employees about this practice by air tel and in anticipation I had disconnected ISD facility on my land line.
I would really appreciate if this issue is taken seriously by air-tel and this disputed calls are checked at their end.
