I had requested Airtel for keeping my broadband connection on safe custody as I was going to be away for a period of about 3 months. I requested this by writing them email and again by visiting theit office in NOida. At that time they wrote that their computer system was being upgraded and they can not take my request (period of July). Later on after lots of my emails, they finally put my service on safe custody (with reduced rental charges) after almost a month of delay. Now, when I restored my services, have written emails and called on their 198 and even registered complaints - they simply are not replying. I even wrote (email) to Appealate authority (Airtel's) - they are not simply repyling.
It is a very poor service - when customers are not able to talk to a any real person who can listen to their complaints. Even DOT is better, where at least some GM or DGM is in the office and you can meet them to sort out your complaints.
