I was using monthly 2G Data Plan on my prepaid Airtel Mobile of 98 Rs. / month with 1 GB data uses. On 22/05 I activated 3G data plan of Rs. 250/ month with 1 GB data uses. I got the message from Airtel that after upgrading your plan to 3G your existing 2G data plan will be automatically deactivated please confirm by sending '1' as reply message. I replied with '1' as confirmation and my plan has been upgraded to 3G data plan.
But 2 days later on 24/05 my old 2G data plan automatically renewed and Rs 98 deducted from my account.
When I contacted Airtel Customer Care same day on 24/05 they deactivated my 2G plan but they refused to refund my Rs. 98 amount.
Please help me to get my refund as this was fault at company's end.
I had register a complaint on 121 and my complaint number is CWNGC30524318094.
