I want to draw your kind attention towards a serious issue of

harrasment against Airtel.

I had a landline broadband connection in Chander Nagar, Ghaziabad. Phone

number was 0120-4104959. I am a customer with airtel since last 7 years.

I and my brother are into IT training and we have airtel corporate

connections at our bussiness work place also.

I was offered a limited plan of Airtel at my home of Rs. 550 a month

where i use my internet only for checking emails at night when i come

back from my office. I paid 3 months advance rental. 4th month when i

was about to make the payment, i got to know that the bill amount is of

Rs. 4500 approx. I was shocked and contacted 10 different people of

airtel to resolve the problem beacuse if i had to use inetrnet for Rs.

4500 i would have taken a Rs 750 unlimited plan. I even shooted an email

to the customer-support department of airtel regarding the same but i

dint got any response. It was very important for me to have a internet

connection at my home and i made every effort to resolve the bill issue

but noone helped me. I contacted airtel DSA and they offered me a new

connection stating to cancel the current one. They asked me to pay

RS.2500 for the new connection as a 3 months advance rental, i did that

, because of no options left. Now i have a new airtel broadband

connection at my home.

Now i want to seriously complaint against the harrasment calls which i

am receiving from Mr. Rajesh from Airtel. His mobile phone number is "

9891064140" and he also calls from a landline number as "011-46810042".

This man has crossed every limit of harrasment a person can do by using

a name of a complany called Airtel. For recovery of the bill this person

tried to harrase everyone i know by calling on the itemised bill. He

called my Sister's mother in law saying that she will get arrested and

he is sending police at her home. He shouted on her pressuring her to

give her address to send police with notice. He called my jiju and used

every angle of harrasment which can effect me. My sister;s mother in law

is a heart patient and she started crying after his regerous harrasment

calls. He called my relatives and friends having airtel mobiles stating

that this is the reference number of my landline connection and he will

be disconnecting his number by today evening otherwise they should ask

me to do the payment. He is using airtel's name by stating all these

fake talks. He crossed every limit of harrasment.

I want to ask you that how can you allow your staff to do so. Will

airtel be responsible of harrasing a heart patient. He called me fraud

and used abusive language with a lady. It is ridiculous. The activity is

still on.

My only request to you is to take strict actions against this person and

i want you to stop all these harrasment calls right now. If it still

continues i will be filing a law suit in consumer court. He is noone to

harrase people who have no links about a stupid airtel bill. Moreover if

it is like this then airtel is fraud because i am still using a airtel

broadband connection at my home.
