In April I had placed a request at Airtel Relationship Center, Khatipura. Jaipur for converting my existing post paid connection into pre-paid one.
They took all the necessary documents required for the request. They also gave me the Pre-paid sim for the further usage which got activated in a day's time.
But on 26 May some female customer care executive from the Airtel Relationship Center, Khatipura. Jaipur called me up saying that some signature on address proof document (I had submitted copy of my passport) are needed.
I went to the center and again signed the documents.
Next day, Incoming and outgoing on my mobile was barred. And later the sim was deactivated.
I went twice to the Airtel Relationship Center, Khatipura. Jaipur for my grievance and they twice gave me deadline assuring that my service will be resumed.
But till now nothing has not been done.
They made a error of not ensuring that all the signatures has been taken from the customer and now I am suffering for their mistakes.
Then I contact nodal officers through the email [email protected] dated June 2.Then I got a auto response that the will be contacting me in 24 hours. But they did not contact me even after 60 hours.
Then I tried contacting them through the airtel nodal office telephone contact. But it was of no avail as every time i called they either stated that their system is down or need more time.
Finally after speaking to 6 Nodal officers, I got a response that my number has been permanently disconnected due to incomplete form.
I mean this is ridiculous and highly uncalled for. Why should I suffer just because of incompetent Airtel staff at their Airtel relationship center, Khatipura, Jaipur whom I had submitted the forms twice just because they forgot to take three signatures on the address and ID proof submission photocopy.

I am using this number since 2001 for 9 years and I never expected this from airtel.
Why should I suffer because of Airtel's incompetent staff at Khatipura, jaipur
If Airtel fails to restore my number, I will take it to appelate authority and consumer protection forum as the need.
I am not going to quit this issue for sure.
I will fight for justice.
