Sold to me wrongly

Dear Sir,

Recently I had purchased a Postpaid Sim Card from the Airtel office in Kodambakkam branch. Inspite of telling that I was unemployed during that time I was sold this no: 9840107401. I was completely unaware that unemployed can never have a postpaid connection. I paid the Deposit amount of Rs.330/-

The connection was fine and worked for two to three days. Later the connection was cut. When enquired with the customer care I was informed that since I was unemployed I was refused that connection.

When I asked the Deposit amount back since I was wrongly sold the customer directed me to enquire that with airtel office person whom I had bought the sim. When I went there initially they told me I will receive a refund cheque. Later when I had waited enough for my cheque I raised this issue again with the customer care, There I was again told to inform to the person who had sold me cause its them who had to raise a concern from their side. When I went back again to the airtel office I was told that they had nothing to do with this cause they had already raised a complaint and I have to call the customer care again. I have been shuttled around and I am really feeling bad to have chosen this connection.

Please let me know if anything could be done on this issue. I would like to get my deposit back or the connection back as I am employed currently.
