Not getting GPRS and Google maps in Mobile

I am not getting Google maps and MMS in my 3G star Mobile of Samsung make since my transfer to Kolkata in February. I was getting the service at Hyderabad, Guntur, Visakhapatnam etc. I have contacted Airtel Service at Salt Lake and other places, who are giving weird explanation like satellite is not located over Kolkata city! They are not rectifying the complaints.
