Charged for ringtones twice (10th Sept & 20th Sept) which was never requested

Hi,

I am Kausik Chakrabarti and my cell number is 9898264483. I am a dilligent Airtel Customer for mobile services as well as DTH services. I have been observing deduction of amount from my prepaid balance of mosince last 4 months time. As I don't keep a record of the same it is difficult for me to track the amout against the instances.

On 10th Sept, I received an SMS stating that Rs10/ has been deducted as a ringtone charges (Some value added service) which I never opted for. I ususally do not pay attention to the SMSs. Yesterday (19th September) while going through the unread SMSs I found the one and called 198 for the reversal of the amount. The customer service officer was unable to reverse, though he has stated, that he has set a note in the system, that I won't receive similar sms or no deduction will also happen in future. I wanted to talk to his Supervisor for the reversal, but he carefully disconnected the call.

Today, (20th September), I ahve received the same SMS again and Rs 10/- has been deducted agsin for the same service which I have never opted/ availaed. Instead of raising the alerts as complaint, the service provider Bharti Airtel Limited is unable to stop this malpractice.

Insisting for a quick action by reversal of the amount deducted on 10th and 20th September and apologize for repeating the same mistake again.
