This is Senthil working in Bangalore, and i was using AIRTEL pre-paid number (9894371610) for last 5 - 6 years when i am in Tamilnadu circle, now the number is out of service. I check with customer care nearly 21st August they informed me to submit the ID proff and required documents to AIRTEL dealers, i submitted the same in AIRTEL dealer near Saradha College in Salem (Application Number : 10130900). Then waited for few days and again as i check with the customer care they informed that the number was disable since the number was not in use for more than 90 days and the number was disabled from 1st August.
But i had recharged the same number with Rs. 350/- on 16th June and finally i used the same number on 23rd julyfor some outgoing and in coming calls while i was in Tamilnadu. Again i checked with customer care they informed that i can retain the same number with post-paid connection. I had mailed the same to [email protected] but there is no response.
How the AIRTEL can directly disable the number without any prior warning like blocking the outgoing calls then blocking the incoming calls and they are making their business like this by blocking per-paid and informing the customer to change to post-paid?
Kindly provide me the valid reason why they had blocked and disabled the number.
