Payment successfull but non booking of ticket

i tried to book an hotel room for two persons in bangalore through makemytrip.com portal and made the payment using my icici account, but after the payment was successful the website showed error and after that when i spoke to the customer care they said to book the ticket again and that they would refund the amount in 72 hours, so the next morning i again booked the same ticket but when i spoke to customer care regarding my refund they put my call on hold several times (precisely 5 or 6 times) for more than 12 minutes and still they have no clue about what should be done or what went wrong or how this problem would be solved. so kindly look into the matter regarding the refund of the deducted amount and the poorest customer care service of makemytrip.com
