I had purchased this Big TV DTH (Prod. ID: 200566775767) 2 years ago when these people had affordable rates & good services. But as the time passed by the tariffs & monthly charges were increased considerably. Just today my TV was working pretty well & suddenly it stops & displays an Error saying Single Lost. Well we all know that DTH do have a poor tolerance to the bad weather & rains. But when this error occurred the weather was sunny with no strong winds. When I contacted the customer care they just gave me a procedure which involved a total software blackout of the Set Top Box. On contacting them again they said that to solve this problem I will have to call their engineer & further they would deduct Rs.175 from my account for it. Neither there is a hardware problem, nor anything involving our mistake, yet the company policy stands on sucking customers hard earned money to make it theirs. A Bad Signal Error is definitely the Service providers fault... So why should a consumer be over charged for it?? Arent their engineers paid to look after these faults?
Moreover it has been recently been evident that the subscription charges are different for new buyers to woo them into buying their product whereas it remains too high for older ones as enough money has already been extracted from them. No wonder Big Tv has the highest monthly tariffs than any other DTH provider!
