We paid annual subscription charges worth INR 3000 to Tata Sky and then decided to go for a secondary connection.

Generally when monthly vouchers are paid, the account statement reflects the amount paid and usage charges just like a prepaid card. Strangely for the annual subscription the account balance is always zero - we do not see the balance that is remaining out of 3000 paid like the monthly vouchers.

When the secondary connection balance goes negative Tata Sky deactivates both the connections arguing that they are under the same account. But the same argument seems to be invalid for the INR 3000 they already have under the primary connection!!! The credit system is obviously faulty and Tata Sky would not acknowledge it let alone do anything about it.
