I had purchased an Airtel DTH on 28th June customer ID 3004526559, transaction no. 9531433 worth Rs 5490. I was informed that it will get installed within 48 hours at my place. After 48 hours when no call came from the co. i again had to tread on the cumbersome task of calling their customer care no. on which one needs to call around 15 times to get through atleast once to a customer care executive. After calling i came to know that d date assigned for my installation is 5th July 1 pm. I understand that there was a bandh called on that date so i waited for the whole of 6th July still no response from the co. when i called back again this time the customer care executive had nothing to say in return. I had no problem with a late installation of the DTH however y was i misled everytime I called and if someone wasnt supposed to come due to shortage of labour and other problems etc. I believe I should have been informed regarding it atleast once.

I demanded a cancelation of the connection Complaint no. 3233606 and was told that i would be contacted within 24 hours, still no response from the company. I had to again call back to the customer care no. to ask for my complaint redressal. Instead of catering to that they people sent an engineer directly at my place.

Airtel recorder system required 2 wires from the wall this was something i came to know only when the engineer entered my place. I cant break the walls of my house to install the connection. due to this i demanded a normal connection which comes for 1700 and a refund of the balance money. the customer care executive contacted me. when I asked her to call back as I would let her know within 1/2 hour she talked to me in a manner in which she is so inconvinienced by my demand let alone the amount of effort i had to put in the first place to call the customer care and bloody my money is at stake with a company which just wants to make money and doesnt care about its customers.

After all this the executive told me that I cant refund back the balance and I have to take an yearly plan. Even after so much of harassment i was ready to plunge myself into their service yet another time when she told that i will have to take an yearly pack of Rs 4300 which comes to Rs. 358 per month approx. when i told her that I need the basic pack as shown on their site which comes at Rs 145 per month she said i have no choice but to take the above mentioned pack or cancel the connection.

My appeal to the company is STOP STEALING MY MONEY. I want my money back

and to everyone who is reading this dont even think of buying an airtel connection because they are thugs
