I have an Airtel DTH connection since last 1 year, I had called their customer care for re-installation of my DTH connection on the 17th of August the request no. provided for this service was 6453819 and I was promised that on 18th by 3pm the service engg will finish the reinstallation. On 18th at 6pm I called the customer care (interation ID 79859007) to find out why the service engg had not turned up for which they said we will revert to you in 2 hours and they happily forgot. The next day on 19th I called them again (interation ID 79973408) and they said thad it will be done on priority and promised that it will happen the same day. Again I called them on the 20th and 21st with the same issue with no proper answer from the customer care team. Till date it has not been resolved and I dont expect them care about it any longer.
I also would like to mention that I have a Dish TV DTH connection as well and I had reqested for the same service on 17th and it was promptly done the same day.
I urge everyone not to be carried by the brand presence of Airtel as the after sales service is pathetic and not worthy.
