I have been given Airtel DTH connection with recorder on 28.04.2011 after very painful/agonising experience from your organisation. The installation was promised on 22.01.2011 and after vigorous followup by me it was at last installed on 28.04.2011.
After the installation to my surprise I am finding that the transmission is of very very poor quality. The channels are very blurred and is worst than local Cable operators distribution signal. The installation person has informed that the transmission quality will be of what I am getting. If this is the case then what is the use of taking DTH connection from your company. All other operators are giving very much better quality as is seen by me with my neighbors in my apartments who are using Tata Sky, Dish TV, Big TV. Some of the channels to name a few like NTV, ABN, NICK, SVBC, Gemini News, Gemini Movies, Subhavarta and many of other channels are not shown and these channels are getting stucked up and the set top box does not respond to any channels after this. Again and again the Set top box is to be restarted by switching off the power to the box.
I am also not given HD Cable along with the set and the installation person has informed that it is not available with him and after receiving the same he will be providing it. The Set top box being a HD equipment, I am amused that the pre requisite of supplying of HDMI Cable in order to watch HD channels is not met and what is the fun of having taken a HD Recorder, which only your company has to understand/explain. As promised while booking the connection, the HDMI Channels have not been activated and the message that the channels are blocked message is coming if we try to view the HD Channels.
I request you to immediately rectify these errors of transmission and see to it that the quality which is expected of a DTH TV is made available to me. If for any reason you are not able to maintain or provide me the quality of DTH transmission as being advertised by your company through various modes and is not up to the industry standards I think I have every right to return the connection and take the full refund from you for not being able to give the required quality of service.
Hope you will resolve the issue on top priority today itself.
