Delay in installation and no activation

Given an excellent broadband and postpaid connection services I went for Airtel DTH on 1st July'10. I bought the connection over phone and paid via credit card. I was assured that the installation and activation would be completed within 48 hours. Today its 7th July and via repeated follow ups with customer care, I was successful in getting it installed.

Now starts the second big hurdle to watching TV. Services are not activated. I have already called customer care 8 times and everytime I call, I get a response that wait for 1 hour and the services will be activated soon. 3 times they told me that you would need to have a voucher pin from marketing and sales department or installation department. They are just making fun of people who go for their services without knowing the actual face of their services. I had NEVER imagined in my life that I would have to follow up to this extent for getting a cable connection. This is the WORST customer service that I have seen in my life for any services.. be it bank/phone/electricity.

It wont be possible for me to go ahead with this kind of services and hence I want my money back and connection cancelled. My customer id is 3004533016. My contact mail id is [email protected].
