I really doubt whether Airtel DTV is serving their curstomers. Below is my experience -
Ref: Customer Id # 3007332041, Date of booking: 23/May, Date of Installation: 24/May, Date of Re-Installation: 25/May
From the very first minute/day of installation B&W with very POOR QUALITY PICTURE is displayed. On 25/May itself, I did call Airtel helpdesk & reported that picture is shown in B&W and the quality is also poor. I am being assured that a service engineer will fix the problem the very next day. Till now 4 times service engineer did visit my place & none of them can fix the issue. Everyone says TV has some problem, fact is I am able to see video/photographs using the same AV port on the same TV.
And also, I did select South-Telugu package, but it is not provided to me. Instead they gave me Kannada package.
When I did request to upgrade my connection to HD, they are charging me so much amount, saying I am a existing customer & upgrade can be done by paying that much huge amount only. I am really not sure how come I am can be treated as a existing customer - whereas from the very first day 'I am asking for cancellation of the connection'.
I am totall FRUSTRATED in calling & e-Mailing the helpdesk guys explaining the same story again & again. ARE YOU REALLY SERVING YOUR CUSTOMERS???
