I am an Airtel DTH customer. For the last 3 days I have not been getting TY signals. the error code is B 001.I contacted the Customer care centre which in formed that the issue would be resolved within 6 hours. It has not been resolved.
Yesterday I received a fake SMS from Airtel informing me that the issue was resolved. It was not.
A technician came to my home. He inspected something and told me that he would come back within an hour, but disappeared forever. i contacted over the local cell number of service centre. They informed that my dish was moved by one of their engineers while doing repairs of some other customer. They did not inform me the name of the engineer who without even informing me had touched the dish provided to me, which has caused the problem.
The Airtel DTH continues to charge me even for the days the service is not available. We are at their mercy, aren't we?
