No installation so far (4 days over)

I had made a purchase of Airtel DTH connection through a web offer using my HDFC credit card. I received an SMS confirming the digitaltv account number 3009343837. However, so far the equipment (set top Box and antenna) has not got delivered to my address.

I received a call from some technician for the installation appointment. When I checked with him around the installation procedure, he mentioned that he is aware of a common antenna installed on our building terrace and hence I will not be given a separate antenna for my purchase. This was unacceptable to me as I had made a complete payment wherein I was told the antenna too will be provided.

In this reference when I called up (on 8th Nov) the toll free number customer care and explained the issue, the representative on call confirmed that the complete equipment set that includes set top box, 12 meter cable, antenna and free installation work will be provided irrespective of any common antenna in the building. I was also assured an installation within 24 hrs. However, now more than four days have passed and there is no progress in status and installation is still not done.

I again called your customer care who had asked me to communicate on number 022-40213261 to speak to the Mumbai Nodal officer. However, when tried this number was always busy whenever called. As an inconvenience causing, I wish to withdraw the order and request Airtel DTH to pay back the amount of Rs.1290/- at the earliest. I am no more interested in making any transaction with Airtel DTH.
