I had bought an Airtel HD tv under custome id : 3009488325 about after
a week of installation the set top box started switching off
automatically and..again switched on randomly.this has been
increasing day by day. I had sought assistance of Electrician for any
faulty Electrical Connection, which he said was perfectly alright.
after this I had lodged an complaint no:15445405 which remained
unresolved for 15 days. Up on my persistent inquiries I was assured a
home visit by Airtel engineer which never happened.one fine day I
received a SMS stating that My Complaint has been closed since assumed
Resolved.and if Unresolved Have to contact some Number which never
responded. Again I had lodged another Complaint today I.E 28/1
numbering : 15792181 which was closed with funniest of response
stating that I have to approach the Vendor of the set top box for
solution. and the Problem still lies unresolved. I feel that Choosing
Airtel was the biggest mistake. I had opted for two of the ala carte
channels TLC and Food Food.which were promised to be activated in 24
hrs.. but after 72 hrs of opting them they remain. unanswered.the
Customer care is Pathetic. Airtel HD is cheating public by displaying
low rates in Website and charging higher rates Ex: For Food Food they
quoted a price of 10 p/m but when inquired in Call center ..they
activated the service by deducting 16. pathetic. I'm disgusted with
their service and I want Airtel to refund back my Installation and Set
top Box money.
