Hi,

I have been using Airtel DTH since last 1.5 yrs. But since last 6-7 of months I am facing lot of issues with it.

-set top box has a problem: One fine day all of a sudden the set top box stopped working and the Airtel customer care ('So Called') told me that I have to shell out Rs 500 to get that set top box repaired (which was very strange). And the guaranty of the box will be 3 months. And soon after I completed 4 months with that set top box, it again started giving problem and again I was asked to pay for the repairs.

Second with the service: Satellite position has been changed and for which they have hired some 'agents' (seems they are not even 10th or 12th class pass outs). They have no manners and basic etiquette's in dealing with customers. They behave in such a manner as if they are doing some kind of charity or Favor to the customer.

And the customer care people have only one thing to say " We will take your complaint and act on that and please forgive us for all the problems you have faced".

Its been 3 continuous days I have been calling to these people and they keep on repeating the same thing.

There is no senior manager or Team Lead available at call center pune.
