I took new postpaid connection. Main purpose why I took this is to get International Roaming. I paid 5k before leaving India and I was told roaming was enabled. And when I came to US and checked it is not showing any signal. One of my colleague took airtel(prepaid) and he also took international roaming(infact he dint even pay 5k advance). He got his roaming activated!! I tried keeping my SIM in his mobile but still no use. This way I'm sure that there is some problem in activation. I tried manual network search, still no luck.
I'm tired talking to Airtel CustomerCare guys, tracking number 35738500 (this is not first one!! ). I got reply saying they will get back to me by 15th(please see mail thread below), but till now I did not get any reply.
I even called nodal office, no one picking up the call! and that is additional charge for me, as I'm calling from US!
Airtel customer support is really bad. I'm deeply frustrated with Airtel services. They should understand the importance of this IR to me. :(
I did big mistake taking Airtel.
AIRTEL : Hope you understand the situation and do the needful ASAP.
