Bharti Airtel
COMPLIANT RELATED TO MY CURRENT BILLED AMOUNT

I am facing the problem regarding my current Airtel billed amount. My credit limit was Rs. 5000/-. I was on international roaming on 27th July.

I emailed [email protected] and informed the team that as per airtel policy when your credit limit exceeded why services were not stopped and informed them that I need a call from senior official. They didn't responded back. Instead of this they started calling me to pay. So I decided my services to be stopped from Airtel and getting this number changed to Vodafone or getting new number.

My Number is 9560900432.

Please find below email conversation between [email protected] and [email protected] but no response. Airtel Presence team never repond back to customers. 121 customer care respond back with scripted answers which has no sense.

Team,

If I can received a message from 121 number stating that my bill has increased to 8343 then how you can say this statement " We regret to inform you that the usage notification from overseas telecom operators will have a time lag. Therefore, we might not be able to notify you on your unbilled usage and credit limit, if exceeded."

You are giving a wrong statement to customers there is no time lag. You notified me and I have details. Please provide me a correct statement. I just need an answer why services were not disconnected when it exceeded my credit limit. As per Airtel Policy services get disconnected it happened last year on my companies other number when I was on international roaming this time why it didnt happened. I just need a correct written answer. I have all evidences regarding my previous emails when services were disconnected.

Dear Karan Gulati,

Ref: Email dated 29/08, expressing concern regarding International Roaming charges for your airtel mobile number 9560900432.

Thank you for your mail to airtel and the opportunity to assist you.

We regret to inform you that the usage notification from overseas telecom operators will have a time lag. Therefore, we might not be able to notify you on your unbilled usage and credit limit, if exceeded.

This is to inform you that the calls and GPRS users, incoming and outgoing mails while on International Roaming (IR) are chargeable as per the visiting operator. GPRS charges will apply according to the visiting operator irrespective of mails sent/ received. Data usage/ GPRS while on IR is chargeable as per the visiting operator. The roaming rates may vary depending upon the operator you visit in International locations. Hence, we request you to please refer our website www.airtel.in for operator wise tariff charges.

The charges are exclusive of surcharge, currently at 15% of the total usage.

We regret to inform you that we are unable to reverse the charges towards International Roaming usage charges as the charges are valid as per the visiting operator. Hence, we request you to kindly clear the bill amount of Rs. 26381.55/- in the invoice dated 27/08 as the due date is on 14/09 to avoid late fee and enjoy uninterrupted service.

We hope that we have been able to assist you suitably.

Please do write in for any further assistance.

Team,

As your are refering to old emails then I would like to refer to an email I

have sent to consumer compliant office with all your emails and phone

conversation. My concern has still not been addressed by your company. If you

check all my emails my company and my concern was related to why services were

not stopped when it crossed my limit that was 5000/-. And till now why response

email/call has not come from your senior official regarding the same. Within 24

hours I need an answer to my question. And I received email stating that once

bill is generated you will get call.
