Dear Sir,
I was using Airtel prepaid SIM (8939668279) from January to August.
In the month of July I came across an offer from Airtel for 2G internet usage.
i.e, 2GB data usage for 200 rupees (one month validity). I called Airtel customer support
to activate this offer on my mobile and in reply the customer executive confirmed the same.
In the August bill, the charges for internet usage is 7, 222 rupees. According to Aitel offer,
the internet charges should be 200 rupees only, Then I called Airtel customer support for informing
about this wrong billing charges. They did not help me in resolving.
I reported this issue to Airtel customer care on phone and mail communication many times. I did not get
any resolution. Onlything they are saying is the intened plan (offer i mentioned above) is not activated
on my mobile and they just activated 2G internet package and also they don't have records for my conversation with
Airtel customer.
I spoke to Airtel customer care every day to resolve this issue, the only respone is sorry for inconvience caused,
in future we will try to provide better service.
I lost my hope and asked them to take my SIM back and deactivate my connection. for that also they did not agree.
I stopped using that SIM and changed to another operator. I don't how Airtel got my new number from other operator,
keep asking me to pay full amount. Every month they are also adding some more charges and now they made the bill to 10, 231 rupees.
I don't want to pay 10, 231 rupees for the mistake done by Airtel executive.
Since the mistake is from Airtel side, I would like to see constructive response
from Airtel instead of harassing me by calling to my mobile or seding mails every month.
Please help me in resolving this issue.
