I wanted to shift from tata docomo to airtel. I had applied for mobile number portability on 20th february in the airtel relationship centre in the electronic city branch. I had submitted all my documents as well. they told me within 7 working days i will get the porting message. no information cam from their side. regular calls, they dont lift the calls. I again visited teh centre on 2nd march and i was told after half an hour to one hour waiting and status checks that back end has entered the porting code wrong and i need to generate it again and wait fro another 7 working days. I again generated teh code and waited for 7 working days . but till 15th march again no confirmation. they have stopped responding to the calls as well. I visited the centre again and they say that back end has again entered the porting code wrong, i need to generate it again and wait. this is sick! the staff there doesnt know how to talk, if the customer is talking, they either walk away or dont respond. they dont have proper information. they make me sit for hours for status checks, why? because back end people are in meeting.

i am very disapoointed with the service. never expected this unprofessional ism from airtel
