I have a pre-paid mobile connection provided by Airtel. The service provider has activated Gyan Sagar service on my mobile connection and debited Rs.30/- even when I did not ask for its activation. It is unfair by the service to activate any service without consumer asking for it. It has become the practice by companies to activiate similar services and they make huge money from unsuspecting customers. This is a fraud. Subsequently, I lodged a complaint with the customer care centre and it was deactivated. However, consumers should not be subjected to this type of harassment. Service providers should be stopped from charging any service without a valid request.
