Sir, This is not compaint, but we need your opinion regarding the meaning of the sentence " shipment per consignment should not exceed INR 10, 00, 000"

We open Letter of Credit with HDFC Bank and Our suppliers' bank is State Bank of India.

In Marine Policy of Bajaj allianz Gen. Insu.co. It is mentioned that " SI Limit per consignment: Rs. 10.00 Lacs"

Confusion

1. Wether shipment means One single Invoice which show Invoice Value Rs. more than 10.00 lacs.

or

2. Shipment means to deliver goods from one place to another. There are more than One truck shipment to party. But One single invoice is raised as per Proforma Invoice.

Kindly requested to clear matter at your earliest. So to whom we have to instruct to change in document, To raise Invoice or to change in terms of Bajaj Allianz.
