Complaint against Auto KA03 B3195

Today I took an auto from Kanakanagar to Bannerggatta Jaydeva Hospital (Airtel office) normal fare would only be approximately Rs109/- old fare and new fare would be Rs.132 and the distance covered is15.5 kms.

But to my shock I found the km reading as 19.9km and the amount charged by the auto driver Rs.170/-. He refused to admit that his meter has been tampered and showing an eronous reading. We were forced to pay the charges told by the auto driver as he had started to verbally abuse.

We require the concerned authority to check the auto drivers meter and have the same corrected. For many of the travellers would be paying extra for no fault.
