Dear Sir, I am (WAS) an NRI account holder with your bank (AXIS BANK) for the last 3 years having saving account no. 0070100561648 .In november my debit card was slightly damaged and I had approached your Dehra dun main Axis Bank branch for a new debit card. According to the lady who attended to my complaint I was to get a new debit card within 2 weeks. However even after repeatedly personally approaching your dehra dun main branch several times I was not issued a freshcard and kept on receiving lame excuses like the head office is not repling or attending to my request. I still had faith in your bank and its supposedly efficient staff that on my one such visit I had even invested in your mutual fund launched in Jan.
I had even personally written a complaint and submitted it by hand to this same lady to send it immediately to your head office but it all was of no use.
Finally today when I called up your bank I was told that my card had been dispatched to my address and had been supposedly received by me 4 months back.
I was shocked and immediately rushed to your dehra dun branch and was told something about an email received by your staff from your head office that my card had been sent to me and also that it had been received by me some 4 months back.
Sir i was so disgusted with this extremely callous handling of my case that I was forced to withdraw all my money from my account and close it permanentely.
Sir, I would like you to personally look into this matter which has forced one of your loyal account holders to be pushed to an extent so much so that he is forced to take such drastic action and break all links with your bank, so that at least in future no one else is made to suffer like I was.
Also do give a reason why I should not initiate any appropriate legal action against you for the ammount of mental harrasement and agony that your staff has caused me.
