I had applied for a Personal Loan on 24/09 with one Axis Bank executive named Mr. Manjunath. I had given post dated cheques as per his promise that I will be getting the Demand Draft within 6 working days. The cheques got bounced from the account due to insufficient balance. I kept calling Mr. Manjunath to check the status regarding sanction of my loan. I was made to believe by Mr. Manjunath that I will be getting the cheque on 01/10, then he started giving excuses for next 3 days. As I already heard enough excuses from him, I thought to check with Axis Bank, Jayanagar 4th T Block Branch, Bangalore which is close to where I stay.
They connected me to Mr. Manjunath's Manager whose personal number is 91 9972488333. As the cheques got bounced I even told I want to cancel the procedure of this and cancel my application for loan. Mr. Manjunath already came to know I am having a plan to cancel my loan, he started speaking to me in abusive language in Kannada and disconnected the call.
Do you have some procedure for your executives to speak to customers in a polite manner rather using abusive language. I thought of cancelling the loan as I was fooled for nearly 3 days but how can he speak to me in some abusive language.
I posted a complaint in AXIS Bank website but they haven't got back to me yet.
