I want to register a complaint on birla sunlife insurance company, I had taken a ulip policy from them year 2008 (policy number 001461454) which has three years of lock-in. after completing three year I had requested for a partial withdrawl of 400000 (fourty thousand rupees) on 10 Feb by visiting there branch in Vijaynagar, bangalore, as I was facing medical problems, for which I needed the money very urgently for my treatment.
They told me that I would get the money in 15 days, After that I got hospitailized on 24 feb 11, from the hospital I called there helpline number 1-800-270-7000 multiple times on 27 feb, 2nd mar, 5th mar as they told me they are working on my case on a high speed queue and I would get the money in 2-3 days.
Later on mar 11, I recieved a call from there mumbai office the officer name was yogesh, he told me that I need to resubmit my KYC document, the point to be noted in that I never changed my address and I didnt want them to send me cheque for withdrawl, as I had given them the cancelled cheque leaf from my ICICI bank.
Anyway, after that on mar 12 some manager with the name Amrish from vijaynagar branch cell no 9019868422/08023106233 had sent someone to collect my KYC, and I was told that in three days I would get my money.
Now this manager is not picking my phone only since two days. Please help this the jungle raaj from these insurance companies. which leave the constomers stranded.
Also, between my request date feb 10 to now mar 18 stock market is also fluctuated very much. who would bear the losses.
I have no idea. Is there any law and order in india. Please help.
