No response on clarification request

I bought Birla sunlife Dream plan policy in 2006. Recently I noticed that the fund value is quite low compared to other policy that I hold with another company. Hence I checked in the statement. To my surprise Birla sunlife was charging me heavily every month (Rs.750/mth) as charges towards insurance. Out of my total yearly premium of 25K, about 9K was deducted towards insurance charge!!! It is about 35%!! its rediculous. I called up customer care several times asking explaination on this but always get response that systems are down, our managers will get back to you. I also raised it through my online account but no use!...

If I do not get response in next 1 week, I have decided that I will send a court notice to them on the basis of right to information, for not handling customer query and for not responding... Every customer reserves the right to know information on his/her policy. They can not deny it in any case.
